Food very average especially for afternoon tea that I had arranged for a private event I organized. Disappointing. They had no clue!!

Great for business. Superb service. Historical decor. Delicious chef cooked food and fine wines. With a natural swimming pool too.

Lowest value for money. The open-doors day is a trap: distrust what you see that day. The services offered by the club are super-limited. Essentially, it is a swimming-pool and tennis. And close to nothing in winter. The prices for members in the restaurant are way higher than the price of higher-quality restaurants in Berlin. Other services like children-care are also ridiculously expensive. All these prices add up on top of the already high annual fee and the equally high, non-refundable, one-off membership fee. The situation is so clear that we decided to happily forego our membership fee and cancel our membership after the first year. And the situation did not really improved then: the club refused to acknowledge our cancellation notice and continue to attempt the collection of the fee for the second year. We should have expected this, as typically bad management is also unfriendly. Clearly a killer combination which enables me to predict a dark future for this club. But do not take my word for this: do your own research and value it yourself. I happen to have been member of or attended some of the most reputable clubs in Spain (e.g. Club de Campo de Vigo, Real Aeroclub de Vigo, Real Club Nautico de Vigo, Club de Polo de Barcelona, ...) and the case of International Club of Berlin is to be ashamed of. These are all personal opinions based on my own experience. Other people may disagree. You should not base your decision about membership based on my opinion but your own judgement of this institution and available alternatives. I am not aware of any factual inaccuracy in this review.
