A wonderful place to eat, very attentive service, fast and friendly. The food is excellent which really reminds me of Japan. The price is very reasonable too. A good Japanese restaurant are more expensive. This Restaurant is highly recommended.

Excellent Japanese tapas restaurant. Something overpriced for the size you get, at least for the meat and fish dishes. The furniture could be more comfortable since they only have benches to seat. The pork belly was great and the beef carpaccio too. The vegetables were all very tasty and served with the delicious dressings on the side. We had the pumpkin pie for dessert and was ok, but nothing special. I recommend to go there in small group up to 4 persons to have food family style sharing the dishes. Mostly overcrowded at the weekends... during the week is more likely to get seated without reservation. Enjoy!

Delicious small plates and super refreshing beer on tap. The dishes are like Asian tapas with certain options clearly referencing Chinese techniques and flavors with others definitely showing Japanese influence. The ingredients are extremely high quality and it comes through in the flavors. Staff are very friendly and attentive. They suggest two plates per person but if you are hungry and you enjoy good food then definitely go for three or more each. You won't be disappointed. This is the kind of place that would have a Michelin star if it was in nyc, London, or Tokyo, made sure to only take reservations, and marked the prices up by 3x on the menu. Much love to the ownership for keeping this a community spot where everyone can afford to sample the delicious options.
I don't get the average rating - Dr. To's has been consistently great over the past two years. Maybe it was people getting takeaway during covid, it's not really a take out joint... Super cosy, pared back interior, great small plates of imaginative, well executed food. Friendly owners/staff. A bit expensive euro per gram of food wise, but for fine/trendy small plates it's affordable and fair. It's my go-to restaurant for reliable, pleasant dining experience when I have people visiting me in Berlin, or for a date night type thing.
