Has definitely always been one of my favourite chip shops! Perfect fish and large portions, never finish eating and still hungry. Well deserved 5 stars been open for as long as I've been alive and the service never fails. Keep up the great work

Had lunch from here today. So so greasy!!. Battered sausage, potato scallops and gravy. Very pale and soggy batter not the nice brown and crisp that you come to expect from a traditional chippy. After a bit it went straight to the bin. Waist of my money.
Went last night and they were fantastic. Cooked in beef dripping and tasted like fish and chips used to taste. 10/10.
Re-posting review and opinion: Chips are a little chewy sometimes Battered sausage is amazing Would be a 4.5 if they took contactless payment. Absolutely unacceptable during a pandemic they STILL only take cash. Won't be using them at all until/if the pandemic has cleared. The only reason id assume they still only take cash is the 1-5% commission attached to whatever company they'd use to take their card payments. Greed over Health says a lot.
