This is an excellent little cafe which in my opinion puts Betty's tea rooms to shame! It serves, to me, what is the best scone I have ever tasted. That aside, the staff are helpful & friendly with a nice welcome to a very quirky little venue. For my family and me, it is a must every time we visit York and on many occasions has been the reason for the visit.

Breakfast with a view! This cafe has the biggest window per table ratio I have seen in a while ... Everyone loves a spot of people watching. Oh, and the food is truly scrumptious! Most enjoyable pitstop before starting a day of touristy sight seeing. The staff were delightful and most accommodating. If you don't visit here, then you won't have the required energy levels for a trek around the city... Do it!!
Great service and lovely location. Our waiter ensured we used hand sanitizer and that the table was clean. Tasty food.
