Daily service Ballycastle to campbeltown and port Ellen on Islay. As expensive (or slightly more?) as going Belfast/Larne to Stranraer but you're on a little rib so way better views. Best view of fair head and mull of kintyre I've ever seen! Took my bike with no extra charge and rinsed it off after docking in Campbeltown. Not a car ferry!

Great service to Cambeltown from Ballycastle. Pity it's not all year
Ballycastle to Islay. Staff went over all safety procedures. Lovely, comfortable, ferry. Very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly captain and crew. Had no concerns, felt very safe. Enjoyable trip. Definitely recommended.
