Benihana

Why did I wait so long for this experience? I had often heard of the style of cooking offered at Benihana, the personalized upfront showmanship of hibachi cooking, complete with all the bells and whistles almost seemed too good to be true. I will first say that I do not understand the poor reviews associated with this location. Everyone is entitled their own opinion and experience I suppose. As for my dining experience, it was wonderful. The food was freshly prepared, skillfully, quickly and yet the quality did not disappoint. We were seated within five minutes of arriving at a table and grill just for ourselves. The waitress was very useful, checking in us to make sure we were provided with service yet not overbearing at all. We both went with the five-course meal, choosing steak and an order of sushi rolls. The food was fresh and delicious. The chef provided quite the show and offered portions of the food within good time of us preparing the previous course. Will definitely return.

My family loves the food but the take-out setup is not ideal. They've left too little space near the hostess stand for people to safely wait for their orders. There's no way that more than two people can wait in that space and socially distance. And if the orders require a wait, then there is a logjam of patrons, some of whom have to stand outside if they want to observe covid guidelines.

This spot is the one I always prefer. I visit plenty of restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The team is very affectionate and the cooking they serve is so yummy. I would always prefer to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.
