Its a place where you can buy a huge variety of crunchy and crispy Indian snacks. If you have any kind of heart condition I will suggest to give this shop a miss. The reason being the prices at which the food articles are sold here are very economic and it gives me an impression that the shopkeeper may not be able to cook what he sells in healthy oils. Most of the healthy cooking oils are not affordable for most of the Indian consumers. What I am talking about is brands like Safola or Olive oil for that matter. If the shopkeeper uses expensive cooking oils he might not be able to sell stuff at profitable prices simply because not many would be happy to pay Rs. 50 for something that can be bought for Rs. 20. This is not the locality where people are too concerned about the amount of fat contents in what the eat. Well even I am not too concerned about it that is why I have bought stuff from this shop several times. I myself don't use such oils for day to day cooking. However this shopkeeper seemed very friendly when I suggested him to offer 'baked only' stuff. I mean food that is only baked (not deep fried) with minimal use of fat contents. Also I feel if this shop was not next a liquor shop it would be much more pleasant experience to buy things from here. One more thing; not every thing you gind here is delicious therefore unless you are in hurry try to taste sample of what you are planning to buy.
