Booked on line a few weeks beforehand for an early evening Sunday meal. The place was full. Lovely attentive staff from the moment you enter the beautiful building. We went for the set meal which was excellent value. The tables are very close together but it has a great atmosphere. This was my first time to The Ivy and it exceeded all expectations. It's stylish but relaxed, the service attentive, professional but also incredibly friendly and helpful and the food is exceptional - I ate from the vegetarian menu with quite simple dishes but all well executed with great flavour. The servings were all far more generous than we had expected so our only disappointment was not being able to manage a dessert! For what you get in terms of food, service and atmosphere, Its very well priced.

Food and ambience is good. I went with friends for lunch. We ordered North Indian veg dishes. Gobi manchurian was delicious. Paneer and mushroom was above average. I didn't like tandoori roti because it was too tight. Service was prompt. Overall good place to eat.
