A humble place for those weary souls who could not find a seat at Shivaji mess Decent quality of food. Tastes good with spices in check. More than adequate quantity of biriyani. If u are going alone, take half plate. Would have loved the food more if it would have been served hot. As it's bang next to main road, don't expect lot of parking space.

For those who are wondering what donne is, ‘Donne’ translates to big cups made from eco friendly palm leaves(some are made out of papaya leaves too). This special type of biryani is name donne biryani as the vendors serve piping hot biryani’s in donne (palm leaf cups). It is truly a special type of biryani, the intoxicating blend of spices, coriander and mint leaves and ghee gives out a quintessential aroma that would hit you nostrils and the taste buds would start salivating. If you ever come to Bangalore, never miss the chance to taste these delicacy. It’s one of the kind of biryani that you won’t find any where else. Anand Donne Biryani is located quite near to famous Shivaji Military Hotel. Even this guy has almost the same menu as Shivaji. I ordered - Chicken Biryani - Chilli Chicken • Chicken Donne Biryani - Biryani flavour was good & Biryani rice was not hot. Chicken was not fresh & tender. It was so hard & soggy. • Chilli Chicken - One of the disaster Chilli Chicken I ever had. Chilli gravy was so liquid it was something like Rasam with Chicken. Even in this chicken pieces were not selected & good. Overall If you ever won't get table for such long time in Shivaji. Just for the time being I would recommend this place.

They cook in bulk, and if your luck is good and you arrive there when the biryani is steaming hot, then its your day you might become a fan, while on some other day it may be a disappointment. Mutton biryani was better than majority of nati style outlets of bangalore and i had visited this place randomly even before visiting Shivaji Military hotel.

The worst ever biryani in the world i and my husband is been admitted to hospital due to food poison after eating mutton dry and chicken biryani which took 15 mins of wait time for mutton dish to come which was sticky and it was a older for 2 days I guess we puked more than 8 times after coming from that place went bcs of the reviews on Google I guess those are from the employees worst ever experience still not able to recover from this yet and then heard the same about this hotel from my frnd same experience that they had faced I suggest to better shutdown the buisness instead ruining somebody health and life
