An amazing lifeboat station, had the opportunity to get to see around the station. The volunteers really do an amazing job. Didn't get to see the launch but will try and come on Tuesday next time when they do their training. So brave to go out on all conditions to help those in need. 10/10 definitely worth a visit to learn more about how they help keep our community safe.

So thankful that these volunteers help to protect and save lives 24/7 365 days a year. Great place to visit and see them carry out practice launch on Tuesday evenings

Absolutely marvellous RNLI lifeboat station where they respect the spectators and fans. Shop needs to sell more range.

Great place to visit if your in the vicinity, with reasonably priced parking opposite cafe. Great at low tide for rock pools. And fantastic to see the working lifeboat station.

We had planned to visit and watch the Tuesday evening (check website for times) LifeBoat launch drill but missed it due to other commitments. Then heard that Tuesdays launch had been rescheduled for Friday, today. So we went along to watch. The public are allowed onto the viewing gallery which is the upper floor of the lifeboat building. It’s a U shaped gallery and you are right next to the boat. Definitely worth watching the procedure. You won’t be disappointed. Remember this is a voluntary service so drop some cash in the box before you leave.
