Below Stairs turned out to be a great little find for us, we are not local so after a quick Google we settled on Below Stairs to start our night. Upon arrival we were Immediately drawn in, the basement gives off a vibe of subterranean intrigue with an interesting decor and a smokey inviting ambience. We were greeted by a friendly and sincere member of staff who explained how the menu worked, the unique idea of stories to describe each cocktail was something I had never seen before. When our drinks arrived they really did relate to what we had read. We also had a couple of the more classic cocktails and the Old fashioned was probably the best I have ever had. Our experience at Below Stairs was a pleasure from start to finish. We will definitely be returning.

Below Stairs has long been one of my favourite cocktail bars. Creative and super tasty drinks, beautiful serves, great service; everything about this place is incredible. It can be quite hard to find, but that is just part of the charm. Check this place out!

Cocktails with a story. Quality. Nice atmosphere. Great service from bar tender. Stairs /access might be difficult for some to navigate if of a wider variety. Artwork for sale on the walls. Antibac on everytable. We'll worth a visit
What a brilliant find! Superb speak easy style cellar based cocktail bar with a really relaxed vibe. Staff are brilliant, friendly and responsive. It's a table service venue with a great range of thought out cocktails, beers and spirits. Will definitely be back.
