The food, the decor, the service, the beer (oh, the beer!); if you don't have a wonderful time here I'm not sure how to explain it. Perhaps it's because you're aren't drinking Moinette like a sensible person (or perhaps you're not drinking enough!). We speak hardly a link of French, but it wasn't an issue at all for the incredibly gracious proprietor, who also accommodated my wife's food allergy without blinking. Truly an excellent experience, and a visit to Leuze, Aubechies, or Ath (and the local sites; don't miss Dupont) is well rounded by a lunch, dinner, or beer at the Taverne. Don't miss it!

Un établissement où convivialité et saveurs du terroir sont au rendez-vous. On s'y sent comme en famille.
Super taverne/resto wallonne. Chaque repas est délicieux et fait avec beaucoup de savoir faire. Il faut y aller pour la viande, mais il y a aussi un poisson ou un bon burger. Moi personnellement je prends toujours un saumon avec du speculoos, une spécialité de chez eux. Une grande variété de bières. Le personnel est très sympa et serviable. ️ Pas de carte bancaire ️
