A nice afternoon showing from 5'000 BC to Antiquity, from architecture to toolmaking, sociology and the like. Go there on Sunday to see craftsmen/women show how they work.

Great place to learn about prehistory and Roman living style. Reproduction of houses dating back to 5000BC. They have demonstrations of traditional work (leather work, bronze casting, pottery, blacksmith, etc) BUT only on certain days (Sundays when we went). Guided tours (in French) if there are enough people (more than 5). Some signs are in English (not many).
Great place to learn about the Gauls and Romans.
Visited the parc on a sunday in april. Wonderful reconstructions of what could be a Gaelic settlement, as well as a Roman villa and temple. At the time of the visit there were re-enactors at the scene, who made the place come alive. Interesting panels with information for the visitor who likes to dig deeper into history. Place to visit with children, older then 6
To visit with family, better on weekend as there are various exhibitions
Super
Zéér interessant. Meer dan een bezoek waard. Pluspunten: vlotte ontvangst aan de balie in perfect Nederlands, Nederlandstalige informatie beschikbaar, meertalige informatieborden, gegidste rondleiding inbegrepen in toegangsgeld. Minpuntje, gids eentalig Frans.
Très beau cadre, le personnel et les artisans sont très sympathiques. J'ai adoré ! Un conseil (merci au jardinier), n'hésitez pas à sentir le parfum de leurs rosiers, vous serez scotchés par autre chose que leur beauté !
