Drove all the way out to Bellevue to meet with this supposedly recommended loan officer named Adam Azar. At first, he was professional and courteous, appearing to be a man who dots all his i's and crosses all the t's. What was supposed to be a same day mortgage loan pre-approval letter, turned into a many week cat and mouse game. Instead of simply emailing us or returning a call to let us know if there was a problem or anything that needed to be addressed, he decided to just ghost us. Adam Azar left our application open in the system, locking up our info from other loan officers, causing us to have to cancel the entire process and start over with someone else. Waiting on Adam caused us to miss out on being able to offer and buy the home we wanted and needed for our family. This experience was absolutely unprofessional and unnecessary. People's lives are at stake and Bank of America allows it's loan officers to behave in this way. Adam went on and on about the importance of our ongoing banking relationship with BOFA is (we had another mortgage through them). We will be sure to move our accounts elsewhere now. We cannot recommend bank of America for your loaning needs. They will drop the ball on you.
