This is a great museum for families looking to to spend a fun time with each other and get out of the house! Masks are required the gift shop is nice with lots of souvenirs, books, and toys for purchase. They have a few exhibits where guests can sit insider the cockpit and play with knobs and switches. The have a flight simulator and hands on learning area for kids. We had a great time!

My father and I make a trip to this museum when we can as the history of the Willow Run plant is connected to my family. My grandmother was a Rosie so this place has a special meaning to me. YAM's newest addition, a Blue Angels F/A-18 Legacy Hornet that was recently retired that was the lead jet at the 2017 Thunder over Michigan, was the main reason for this visit. This particular aircraft has a storied military combat record before becoming a Blue Angels jet in its later years. Kevin....you and your staff deserve major kudos for the work put into the awesome displays, excellent airhsows, and routinely acquired aircraft. Major A!!!
Nice Little Museum. Smaller then expected but I may be spoiled after visiting National Museum of US Air Force. Found the B 52 down the street while driving around waiting for them to open.
This is an awesome museum,it's like a walk through history. Very knowledgeable staff and amazing exhibits. The former blue angel jet was decommissioned so recently it is still leaking hydraulic fluid.
They have a large proportion of private individual's contributions and YAM does a great job of sharing the personal stories behind the artifacts. They also do great job telling the story of aircraft production at willow run. BRAVO ZULU to YAM
