The castle gardens are lovely. In the summer there's a lovely array of flowers, great views over the lough and the opportunity to have an alcohol beverage outdoors if desired. Also enjoyed seeing the gardens lit up for Christmas.

Done cave hill walk very nice .
Nice place to stop for a picnic ...on a cold winters day ...after a 2 hour hike up Cavehill
Busy because of locldown, mucky becausebof all the wet weather recently but definitely want to take a walk up in the summer or do one of the torchlight walks to see the lights over Belfast
Beautiful in every season, the walk from the castle through the woods to the top of cavehill is enchanting, at the top you can see all of Belfast and right across the lough to Scotland, in winter if it snows its like being above the clouds, bring a toboggan and have fun going back down again
