Had refreshments outside in the coffee box very pleasant surroundings ,dog friendly and pleasant staff serving ,the clubhouse opens this weekend .

Saturday 14 December 2019. I attended an extremely well organised event to support a prospective Olympian, however whilst the event was excellent the standard and attitude of the chef left much to be desired. I was served a cold dish of quite ordinary pasta, as an alternative to the turkey & ham that most of the other guests got. My dish arrived late, it was cold and its presentation was far from appealing. I spoke to the waiter, and she removed the dish only to replace it some minutes later with the same dish except it had a much more rubbery texture. I returned the dish to the kitchen and complained. On the serving of the dessert, the chef came to my table and in aggressive manner publically \had a go at me\ for complaining about the food. I find this totally unacceptable and am taking the matter further
