Amazing building with so many vast empty rooms. Great staff, food and atmosphere. Good garden and pool too. Room 201 somewhat dark as only window obscured by a tree.
Lovely historic setting providing a great environment for a relaxing stay
We visited when we arrived in Beja, looking for a room for the night. Fancy looking place with a lot of decorations that may have part of the old convent. I remember seeing a wall hanging depicting a farm scene from the 1500's. Was the hanging that old? Don't know, but I was impressed. Most of the things were of a religious nature; that's okay, it's culture. Pretty place, but no rooms today.
Good Pousada! Fine service!
On the whole, it was great! My one complaint was that the beds were rock hard. Once they address that issue, it gets a five.
Gorgeous place, wonderful staff, utterly delicious food and kittens out back. What more could you want?
An impressive, very atmospheric hotel! A bit expensive though and its restaurant was below my expectations. Better eat elsewhere
