Nice to take a breakfast or a lunch. Delicious typical cakes.

The famous sweet piglets, conventual delicacies. And in this place best palmiers in town. All traditional cakes. Sorry the pic we eat it before picture taken
Cafe with restaurant upstairs. The cafe looks after you well - proper bread, olives, cheese and cans of fish pate brought to our table on arrival. Delicious Alentejo bread and egg soup, then for mains we had a cheese omlette (the veggie option) and lamb. Both excellent in their simplicity. This place is so lovely that we returned the next day to try more dishes!
Typical, modest lively and practical restaurant. Art Deco still present, dishes are humble but tasty and traditional. Located on a walking area in the city. Highly recommend when visiting Beja or crossing for a leg stretch after the long road
Old school and yum...great prices and fab food. Get your toilets refurbished though!
Good food (they're legendary for desserts, which unfortunately we didn't try). We had dinner, which was solid, good food. It was late, and staff was a little slow and hard to attract, but we walked in off the street and were grateful to get a meal. Love Beja!
This place has pretty good pastries
Good pastries. Almond tart is the speciality. Has outdoor tables so you can enjoy the sun. Located in the pedestrian only commercial zone of Beja.
