We visited the Haywain on the 17th of August as a family of 6 1 baby for my sons first birthday. We immediately felt welcomed and safe. At the entrance there is a one way system in place and as you enter you are asked to sanitise your hands. We were then led through the restaurant by our very friendly waitress (Called Sue) who seated us on a table with an extremely clean high chair with the tray wrapped in cling film. We were very impressed already. Nearly all the tables are surrounded by Perspex and are all at a sensible distance apart from each other. We ordered our food with the same waitress who bought us in. My son and I have many allergies and Sue was extremely helpful and knew a lot about the menu and guided us on what we could have. This was really nice as I often find it awkward asking about these things but this time we were very comfortable and assured that we were in good hands. Our food arrived very quickly considering how busy the restaurant was and was all delicious! We had free extra fries and drinks which we didn’t know were included which was a great bonus. Altogether our trip was really delightful a really lovely way to celebrate a birthday and a just great meal out. Thank you

Booked for 6.30pm absolutely rammed. Must have been 100 plus people there all well protected. Food was ok 7out of 10
Meal on Friday evening at 7:15pm. Felt safe inside the restaurant. One way system to enter & leave. Had a table with a screen but there wasn't anyone sitting in tables either side of us. Limited menu but all 4 meals were eaten without complaint. Thanks Haywain
Had a really nice meal here yesterday. We took advantage of the Government scheme. It was really busy but they managed to fit 4 of us in at short notice. Service was good & so was the food. As I used my loyalty card I will also get a 50% off offer for September so the 4 of us will be back
Went here for a meal with my partner and my daughter food was very nice and well cooked. Nice atmosphere. They doing special Christmas kids menu where get meal dessert for 6.99 with a free colouring. The colouring book is like a storybook colouring book. My daughter was well happy.
