Even though we were a bit too early for French standards (7:30pm), we had an amazing meal and a great conversation with the head of service. Good wine and quality meet. We come again.

I used to go to Beef quite often while living in Lille. It was definitely the best meat I had in Lille, although a bit overpriced. What I remember the most is the smashed potatoes, which is more like a mousse, absolutley delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very nice.
Really great food and the staff are friendly. We went for the entrecôte which was cooked perfectly at medium. Planning another visit before we leave!

Rubbish bit of steak, good for gristle like an old boot. 2 of us had the same issue, they took 1 beer off the bill by way of apology, generous! To be fair our partners steak was ok...
