Very good location, amazing burgers and home made fries. The prices are correct and the personnel is nice and efficient.
We are in a group tour with pre order meal. We had samosa as an appetizer and cod with vegetable. Both were good as well as service over all. The dessert has too much creame not to my own liking.
The only burgers we had in during our time in France, and I can’t imagine there’s a better one! Staff was super friendly and didn’t mind speaking English with us. We sat outside in their cute sidewalk set up, which was great despite the tramway construction
An excellent place for a steak dinner in Caen. With second-floor views overlooking the cathedral across the street, we enjoyed a terrific and very affordable meal (the Menu L'Ardoise includes a three-course meal for only 19, a terrific value considering the quality of the food. Other prix fixe options can be had for a few euros more.) The beef tartare was delicious, the steak was exceptional (you can really taste the fact that they only source local high-quality beef) and the pain perdu was a great way to close out the meal. Service was excellent throughout the night.
