Great place to visit for a nice walk. Lots of open areas too which is ideal for summer. The tables have metal plates on them to allow for instant BBQs. Lots of dog walkers go here. Plenty of free parking too. Take a spare pair of shoes in bad weather. Child play facilities too.

Lovely walk at Plessey Woods, picturesque, natural, bubbling river, easy paths, well signposted, lots of bird life, trees and nature galore. Kids play area and activities.

Great family place for the day ; childrens play area and barbecue/ picnic area and facilities. Lovely woodland walk as far as Stannington following the river if interested. Really unusual and natural surroundings belonging to the Blagdon estate.

Nice for a Sunday stroll to burn off lunch. Good for cycling and walking dogs. Quite flat, not very challenging but still nice to enjoy some fresh air and nature.
