Great park with amazing views of the lakes and a beautiful picturesque view and wildlife. You can enjoy river walks, lakeside trails, cycling, birdwatching and fishing. Different walks paths available around the lake and woods. Free car park and cafe available (take away service)

Beautiful views and vistas. Very muddy, even the paths around the lake, would be far better if they invested in better paths - Current ones require rubber boots or hiking boots for nearly all walks. River is in full flood and going over its banks, took this photo from a nice bridge

A lovely walk round the lake and a paddle with the ducks. It was a little busy but everyone polite and kept appropriate distance

Went for a walk around the lake on 30 Dec 2020 - really lovely and the North side of the lake is fine for prams etc but you need some wellies to get around the SW corner. Water a few inches deep covering the path and surrounding field.

My first visit here & a lovely afternoon spent walking around the lake. Plenty of free parking. Coffee shop with good selection of cakes (takeaway service only at the moment). Highly recommend their carrot cake! Benches to rest those weary limbs after a long walk. Muddy path after a huge down pour so wellies recommended.
