Don’t bother coming here as usual their website is out of date, they don’t answer their phone and 60 miles of travelling to get here and the place is closed!

Avoid disappointing your kids and wasting your travel time by not going! We have just arrived on a quiet Saturday morning, only to be told that we have to wait 50 minutes for the next session. The car park is relatively empty compared to peak times. I have been here during the summer holidays in the afternoon where I have had to queue outside to get in, yet still have never been turned away.

If you remember this place as a child then I suggest you stay away and keep the good memories. The building is an absolute dump. The outside has wooden boards up in places, the fire exit door has a smashed window in it. Arrived at the entrance to be greated by 3 signs. 1 to say they were short staffed in all aspects of the building, 1 to say the spas were broken and 1 to say the lazy river wasn't working. The changing rooms were dirty, missing doors, broken peg to hang things off. Dirty floors. The toilets were dirty and smelly! The member of staff was the only reason it got a star because she was actually very friendly. They also now run their sessions in time slots which resulted in a 40 minute wait to be able to get into the pool. My kids had fun but as an adult I'm not happy to pay full price when the owners of the pool aren't willing to spend any money on the upkeep. 25 years ago it was a great place but unfortunately if you spend no money on maintenance in that time you end up with something that is fit for demolition!
