Excellent sanitising where members can easily and safely wipe down whatever equipment used. Some cardio equipment could be updated so machine can be programed more specifically to users requirements. Good 'Social Distancing' and staff always wear face masks of various kinds. Also regularly cleaned floors and surfaces.

Got drawn in to rejoining this gym by half price membership until Dec and the fact that it had classes on at a time that was convenient to me. I thought long and hard before signing up due to 12 month contract and the monthly cost, but decided to go for it. I signed up for 4 classes in my first week. I arrived for the first class to find out it had been cancelled and replaced with a class I didn't want to do. No notice given so wasted my time turning up. Then an email to say another class cancelled. This was becoming a little annoying as the classes were what I'd joined for. Arrived for the 3rd booked class and assured by reception staff it was on. As I was early I went on the treadmill which had seen better days. When I went to the studio door for the class, I was told by another member the class had been cancelled. The instructor had posted 45 minutes earlier on Facebook. This was the final straw for me and as I was still in my 10 days cooling off period I cancelled my membership. So from my perspective this gym has gone downhill considerably since I was last there and I would rather find a gym that costs less and doesn't tie you into a 12 month contract when classes get cancelled and notifications of that are not given!

I have been a member of this gym for quite a few years, and am disappointed with the cleanliness and lack of working equipment available. The last time I used the pool it was dirty and smelt unpleasant hence why I haven’t been in the pool area for a while. for the amount I pay I feel that I can get a better deal elsewhere with more of a service to offer and will be leaving fitness first. I’ve stopped going to body pump on a Monday due to the stampede of people fighting over equipment and over bookings.

Have had to change my rating from 5 to a 1. Has gone down hill rapidly. Has inexperienced staff in management positions. Is losing long term staff. Has cut a number of popular classes. Equipment particularly cardio machines are worn out and threadbare and finally the membership charged is not worth it. It is almost as though it's being run into the ground.
