Rowing club is very welcoming
Hard to beat sitting on the balcony at this place on a summer's evening. Reasonably priced drinks, welcoming staff and open to non members. Beautiful vista across the river.
Lovely location enjoying the sunshine and views along the river.
The pub is underrated. It is on Duck Mill Lane but you can access it easily via the emankment. We sat on the balcony and had some beautiful views of the Great River Ouse. It looks stunning at night time. Drinks were very reasonable and didn't break the bank. Staff are friendly and it wasn't too busy at 6.30pm. I would recommend this place if you want a quiet drink in the sun in Bedford Town.
