Absolutely beautiful. I love this time of year and today was a lovely day out. My 3yr old loved the freedom to run about and we had time to forget about lifes troubles.

Beautiful 'Halloween' walk. The colours spectacular. Felt very safe everyone adhering to the rules of 2 metres,(children also) in these unpresidented times.

Absolutely gorgeous place to go. You're free to walk around wherever you like which makes the park seem deceptively quiet because you're not all clustered on to one path. The tearoom is lovely, the toilets were clean and the birds and mammals are a nice addition. You could easily spend most of the day here if you have a child. It's pushchair friendly as long as you can off-road with it.

We visited on 19th December 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic. The arboretum is full of gorgeous trees, but disappointingly they are not labelled, so I rarely knew what a tree I really liked actually was. They obviously have an unusual collection because a number of them are labelled ‘champion trees’. After months of rain the ground was very muddy and there are only a few hard paths, so access for pushchairs/wheelchairs seems poor in the winter. They were taking great care to provide a Covid secure environment. I hope to return in spring or autumn!
