First time to visit this establishment as a customer. What a truly wonderful place. Lovely staff, friendly owners and a truly scrumptious toastie served with great coffee. Will definitely be returning, and it won't take me 20 years....
Classic tea shop. If tea and Calle out what you're looking for, then this is it. Building constructed 1600s though it's not obvious. Menu is a little limited. Cash payments only, but there's a free cash machine in the Spar over the road.
Beautiful little tea room and lovely scones! Loved that they served Ribena as well as tea. Lots of homemade cakes to choose from. Friendly staff. The tables could be better arranged to fit more customers in. There were a couple on a table that could seat 6 people and a huge queue outside the door.
We came in here after a schlepping around the castle to warm up and eat. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. I recommend the ploughmans and the warm scones! Just note the tearoom does not take credit cards, so have cash on you! Worth the effort.
