We did the 75 minute puffin island tour. Great guide with almost constant commentary from our captain. He had lots of local knowledge and jokes to share. They played a recording for some of it, the voice over artist sounded like a 1930s bbc reporter! Very posh sounding, they should redo this with someone with a softer welsh accent as it was a bit out of place! We saw loads of wildlife including seals, porpoises and loads of birds. Kids loved it.

This was a great trip and perfectly timed. We booked online and shopped around a little bit. We wanted to see puffins and this 75 minute trip seemed like the right amount of time. I chose Starida as it was the cheapest. When we were arrived we were greeted at the starida booth and given tokens. We waited on the pier as we were a little early and watched kids and adults pulling up crab after crab on the pier which looked fun in itself. The trip was perfectly timed, informative and we saw a load of seals, puffins and a porpoise.

Ive been on the statida puffin island cruises many times when i was younger it was fantastic, handsome Stan and his crew always make you feel welcome and so safe , it can get chillie on the Irish sea so they have a stack of blankets for those that need them . Ive take my kids cruises and they really enjoyed seeing the wild life seals puffins ect . A big thank you to the staff your all professional and polite very knowledgeable and informative of the menai the island and the surrounding area. Oh and very good looking to it must run in the family. Starida Sea Services is a local, family-owned business based in the historic town of Beaumaris on the island of Anglesey. They have been operating in the pleasure boat industry for over 40 years and in that time have built up a wealth of knowledge and experience. Anglesey isle

Did the 3 hour fishing trip on Saturday aboard catfish, fishing was poor but the boat crew kept us entertained. Let the 3 kids onboard drive the boat, explained how the equipment work etc. Top notch, will be back in a few weeks. The business offers boat tour/trip around puffin island or down the the Menai bridge, taking in the local wildlife and scenery. Fishing trips from 2-8 hours, the family trips are 2-3 hours and everything is covered in the price.

Lovely, informative ride. My wife very much appreciated the stack of blankets available as it was quite a chilly day when we went! We were delighted to see puffins, seals, cormorants, and loads more.
