I have had lower back pain for 4 years before seeing Debora. In this time I have tried many chiropractors, acupuncture, changing the mattress to a firm pocket sprung one, cold packs and even bespoke orthotics but nothing seemed to work. A year ago I was told by a chiropractor that I had lower cross syndrome and started a treatment plan. Needless to say that I was paying a lot of money twice a week for 15 min sessions where I would get my back cracked without the slightest result. Obviously I wasn’t going to let myself get ripped off so after several weeks I stopped the ‘treatment plan’ and chose to continue the exercises myself. Even though I was following the right order (stretching and then the actual exercises) the level of pain increased whilst my range and mobility got so bad that I could barely walk. That’s when I chose to try massage as the very last resort and came across Debora. Skeptical as I was, I went ahead with whatever she advised me to do (hot water bottle, deep tissue foam roller, activation exercises, Pilates, etc). Soon enough I started to see results which encouraged me to work out harder (whereas in the past the workout more than often would result in more pain). After 2 months I was out of pain (depending on the case it usually takes 3 months). It’s very hard to explain what sort of impact this lower cross syndrome has had on me on a psychological level for 4 years, as this was a muscle imbalance which triggered the muscles in the wrong order (subconsciously) with the glutes and abs being inhibited and the small muscles in my buttocks having to compensate by overworking and it was altogether out of my control. Debora reassured me every time I was doubting my progress. Simply put she is the best and most dedicated professional that I have encountered on my odyssey of pain.

I'm a full time athlete and active competitor and I came across Beatitude when I injured my hamstring tendon back in August/September and was desperate to get back into training and competing as soon as possible. Debora had been a tremendous help ever since, not only helping me recover from that injury but also quickly resolved any other issues I picked up in training or competing along the way. Hurt neck, strained back, pulled intercostals, knee injuries, general wear and tear - name it and safe to say Debora has helped me with it before. She's very knowledgeable and professional but she also takes into account how you feel and what your goals are. Forget 'you have to rest it' and get ready for 'remember to stay as active as you can'. She's always happy to answer any questions you might have and with her amazing, positive and friendly attitude provides excellent psychological support too! Over the last few months, I've been a very frequent visitor at Beatitude and Debora has never failed me with her treatments. We've also become good friends and I'm extremely grateful for meeting her! Highly recommended to anyone!

During the lockdown I had to self isolate at home and being in bed a lot of the time my shoulder pain got worse. After the first session the level of pain got better and after the second one disappeared. Debora always gave me good advice and exercises that I could do at home. Before her I have seen someone else but he didn’t solve the problem. A good and friendly service that I highly recommend. Thank you so much for all your help and advice!

Deb's treatment has helped me over come some niggling injuries. Her treatment is comprehensive and focuses on equipping you with the exercises and stretches you need to manage injury and improve performance. As well as feeling better, I've come away with a better awareness of how to look after myself long term. Would highly recommend giving her a call.
