Can not fault this wonderful traditional chip shop staff were friendly and smart We ordered one large and one small cod with mushy peas Was so fresh I thought it would have jumped out of the fryer!! All cooked to order and perfect Such a shame there isn’t more like this Well done to the team there they obviously love there work and take great pride in what they serve Only one complaint is it isn’t near my home Will defiantly be popping in every time we go down to the beach
Lovely hot fresh chips nice and crisp along with a pea fritter and pie. Yum. Shared of course!
Went in for 2 portions of chips, 27 minutes after i ordered at least 3 people that came in after me were given their order, i approached the young guy that was serving & queried if they had actually registered my order & i was met with a curt reply 'your next'... i explained they had actually served people that had come in & ordered after me (i was really not being rude at all, rather thought they had forgotten my order)...chips were very nice however will not return due to lack of manners.
Was looking for a quick easy meal and found this place by accident. And I am glad I did. Staff very friendly and the food was of great quality. Prices are reasonable and would definitely visit here again. Waiting area was clean and tidy. If you live close by or are visiting the area, I highly recommend this fish and chip shop.
