I needed to hire some catering equipment for my upcoming self-catered wedding and had initially planned to use a different hire firm as they were the only firm offering catering-sized saucepans. I then realised I needed a large ice box and only BE Event Hire offered these for hire, however didn't have the saucepans. I emailed BE with a cheeky query asking if they would consider buying in pans, expecting to be told no, and was very pleasantly surprised when they not only said yes but also bought in quite a few extra items just for my order. I was dealing with Margaret throughout who went so far over and above the required levels of customer service, even spending her evenings searching online for the extra items and emailing me to check I liked the items before she bought them. As I switched hire company at late notice there wasn't much time between my cheeky request and my wedding day but Margaret had sourced and bought the key items within 24 hours, and the nice-to-haves were all bought, on the website and invoiced within a week. I felt the need to write a review as I have been really impressed at the effort Margaret has put in to enable me to hire everything I need for the wedding, not only saving me a fortune through not having to buy the ice box, but enabling me to get everything I needed in one place and saving a lot of stress. Thank you.

We recently used BE Event Hire for wedding furniture. The office and delivery teams were both really helpful and efficient, and we were very happy with the furniture too - we got lots of compliments on the chiavari chairs in particular. There was initially a bit of a mix-up over delivery times but it was sorted out instantly at no extra cost to us and it was handled very professionally. Would highly recommend.
