Great place for browsing and looking staff very friendly. Beautiful plants. A little bit on the expensive side. But all in all a very nice shopping experience I bought some locally sourced honey

lovely garden centre; beautifully structured and offers vast collections of plants / shrubs / homemade products / outdoor decor / indoor furniture; we dined in ‘the barn’ restaurant and we loved the new build! the service was lovely, quick, and the food was delicious. would rate it 5 stars if they offered more vegan options rather than 1 (jacket potato & beans) ️

Went today for a pre-booked lunch. As we approached the garden centre we noticed how smart and clean it looked. It is a one way system which is easy to follow and was adhered to by everybody. It is well stocked and all customers were wearing a mask. The lunch was very good and the system there was easy to follow. A staff member was sanitising the tables and the trays and the toilets were open. I am gluten free and there were various lunches available for me. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and there was a very relaxed atmosphere. Well done Hilgay. We will return again soon.

Was advertised as late night festive shopping with mulled wine and mince pies, extremely disappointed that there was nothing festive other than some Christmas music playing in the main shop. No mulled wine, no mince pies, hardly any customers and certainly no festive atmosphere. The German huts were unmanned and as we walked round it felt like they were about to close and lock us in!
