Despite having reasonably cringy title, this is the place that I’d suggest to a foreigner first time visiting Kazakhstan and getting to know local cuisine to visit. It’s possible to try virtually everything kazakh here, I’d say. Furniture and overall service is excellent as well. Good experience for sure.

Керемет жер, ас ішемін десеңіз осы ресторанға келіңіз. Ұлттық тағамның дәмін татасыз. If you want treat yourself, I recommend you to have a lanch at the restaurant. I think you will not regret. Trust me.

I visited the place aiming to test traditional food. All was just great - the place is neat and clean at the same time one can feel as part of a nice family. The food I tested (Karun Burna and Nauriz koja) was delicious and can recommend to many. The staff was quite friendly, serving excelently without disturbing ongoing conversation on the table. It was good understanding of english and great help with advice and organisation of best transport options for my return to the hotel.

Wow, amazing beshbarmak! Said to be the best in town, besides the one cooked by one's mum or grandma. The kazy (horse meat sausage) was delicious and the beef meat so juicy and tender. It falls of the fork. The broth/stock coming with it is so rich in flavors. Best of it: the freshly deep fried baursak, Kazakh version of donut. And try the schubat! Fermented camel milk. Definitely come here. Soooooo friendly staff!
