fantastic meal here tonight, staff were friendly and helpful and made the effort to make sure my 3 year old daughter was happy, we are in tough times and being able to go out and eat as a family in a safe environment means so much right now. we thoroughly recommend coming here if you want to feel safe without if feeling clinical. I also have to say the food was the best we have ever had here. cant wait to come back next week.

Me and my partner had lunch here a few days ago and the food was fantastic, the service was friendly and the beer was lovely and cold. I would defiantly recommend the Kings arms to friends and family! Delicious!

Came in for a Sunday roast yesterday, we were greeted at the door by a polite gentleman who showed us to our table while explaining the new system because of covid its all very easy to understand, we were then called up to the carvery deck where the chef now plates your food for you and then a waitress takes the plate to your table, the food was fantastic and service was done quickly throughout, we heard a table complain that they hadn't been told what to do but this just wasn't the case as we were sitting on the next table and they were told twice what they needed to do they just weren't listening, this confrontation really upset me as the staff had been fantastic the whole time we were there and in such hard times i wish people would be a little more understanding.

I just cannot understand why this place still remains open. I visited today to see if this place had improved to no surprise its still shocking. Paid for 2 breakfasts to be handed receipt and told there is no toast as the toaster is not working, could of said before I paid. I then went to get my breakfast and the bacon was to far gone. I asked the member of staff if they could make some fresh bacon. He came back and said they would not be making any more bacon and its only crispy. No where in the menu did it say crispy bacon with your breakfast. I asked to me refunded and another new manager only there for one week came to refund us. He did say sorry and he had only been their a week but, I told him that it could of been easy resolved if he just got the kitchen to cook more fresh bacon to be told they would not. I find it shocking that you expect people to pay for this type of food and that they find its acceptable to serve food of this poor standard.

Not even worth the one star, sat for 20 minutes opposite the carvery station to not see one chef then he comes out servers 3 plates for a table then disappears for another 5 minutes not to be seen. When asking the waitress how long we will be looking to wait we are then told there is another 4 tables to be served before us baring in mind these tables arrived after us. They have no order system in place. This place should have just stayed shut. They have no customer service at all. I used to really like this place but no point going to a place where the staff cant even be bothered to be there!

Food was good and staff were friendly. But the new serving due to covid nonsense made the whole experience less than ideal. Was the least well planned meal I've had in a while and the chocolate brownie was not good at all. (choc fudge cake is a good alternative though)
