It was serendipitous to find good food, fast and friendly service and reasonable price in this place. We love the ambiance too and the clean restroom. It's a must stop if you are in town. There are vegetarian options like mixed vegetables and also ceviche or kinilaw, if you want non-meat dishes.

Tasty food! Service staff comely
Passed this place as we were heading back home from our trip down St. Bernard. A good friend recommend La Veranda, and we gave it a go. This is one of the few places that we would love to go back. Food serve is really good. Ambiance is a great place to relax after a long drive. They offer 'boodle food set' enough for about 6-8 people, priced at 1680php. Included in boodle set are: rice, lumpia shanghai, grilled fish, grilled squid, pancit, calamares, kinilaw (Filipino version of Ceviche - raw fish marinated in vinegar and spices) boiled crab, fried shrimp, topped up with fresh mango, and softdrinks. They also have family meals with different set to choose from. One delightful thing, la Veranda staff even offered to buy the medicine (anti-emetic) when one of us asked for the nearest pharmacy is Bato to buy the said medicine. One great example of a 5 star staff experience. Hence, we will pass by la Veranda again when we have the opportunity. Thanks la Veranda for giving one happy tummy community!
Cozy place and great food. Lots of choice here although it's only Filipino cuisine.
Nice garden place, nice food, esp. seafood. Sad to say, the toilets are very ugly.

The food takes one hour to serve and the rice and soup they gave us was cold.
