We had a fabulous time. We told them it was our anniversary and they couldnt have been more attentive.we had 2 course Sunday lunch and the lamb was to die for. Dessert was amazing too! We can't wait to go back

Stayed in Toad Hall which was a 2 bedroom cottage. Very clean and comfy. Lovely porch overlooking the River. Enjoyed the extra guest (Pearl the cat) but if your not cat happy she can be kept out but made it extra special for us.
Very good first visit....booking was handled well. Covid precautions well established. Restaurant ambience relaxing. Staff very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Food nothing short of excellent. Thank you Chef and Servers. Menu choice very good and well balanced without being extensive. Pricing structure makes sense.....Highly recommended.
An absolutely fabulous dining experience on all levels. The restaurant can be found in residential streets just outside the city centre, and the riverside setting is perfect for a romantic dinner. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food was of the highest quality. The menu is smaller than high street chains, but this is a telltale sign of quality, and this restaurant is no exception! The terrace offers a serene view of the River Avon, which is beautiful in the day and at night. There is a small car park present, but you can park in the nearby streets (permitted so beware!), and there are toilet facilities on site. Waiting time for food was a little long, but this is only a very minor blot on an otherwise excllent dining experience!
Fell in love with this place. Friendly owners, unique location, good food, and nice wine/champagne selection. Also areas for improvement but not worth mentioning. One of the best places in Bath - thank you!
