The food here is imaginative and delicious. With small plates you can share and try lots of lovely things. The ambience is cosy country pub, there was a real fire to linger by and the service is excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable experience, hopefully to be soon repeated.

What a fantastic place. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the service was warm, helpful and very friendly, and the food and drink were deliciously fantastic (especially the breakfast, which was worth the room rate on its own) . Set in the beautiful countryside of the cotswolds, and perfectly placed for going exploring round the local area. Well worth a visit if you're looking for somewhere to stay.
Friendly, helpful and polite staff. Food is delicious. The only thing that let the place down was a couple of pretentious customers having their office meeting, which is in no way the pubs fault. Recommended!

Perfect. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. I had dinner, which was a very full plate of 2 minted lamb steaks and chips very large of amount of food for the price 12.50. Breakfast was just as good as dinner I had pain chocolate with fresh fruit which was included in the price of my stay 1 night for 70.
