Friendly staff and a good selection of local products. Also has a cafe, an ATM and plenty of other essentials.
I was lucky enough to use this wonderful and important local amenity in May 2018 when I was house sitting for some good friends who live locally. This shop supports it local community by stocking a good range of reasonably priced items, including cleaning items, ready to cook meals, fruit and veg, wine and beer. The staff are unfailingly polite. I once lived in a Dartmoor village without a village shop - it was killed by a nearby Tesco - and would have loved to have had a local store as good as this. Highly recommended.
Fantastic community shop that champions local producers and artisans as well as stocking the papers and milk. The cafe's good too.
