Despite the ungodly amount of parents who think that the ramps are slides for their kids, the skatepark is great, the bowl is smooth, and the box is amazing, having ridden BMX, scooter and skateboard, the park is one of the best in the southwest.
Awsome skate park ideal for beginners and more confident skaters. Local café and loos nearby.
Now that it has been revamped it's much better, which is proved by the amount of people that visit when it's sunny!
Victoria Skatepark This skatepark is right next to the children’s playground so that means it can get pretty busy with people. There is a lot of young kids on scooters trying to annoy skaters and go into their path so be aware. The biggest strength of this park is the massive bowl. It has got two sections, one is the deep end with about a foot of vert and it’s about 15ft deep with normal metal coping and there are two hips that connected to the smaller part of the bowl which is only about 8ft deep. There is also a smaller 4ft bowl / mini ramp area, great for learning stuff. There is not a lot of street area however you will find one double set of stairs with a rail in the middle, a couple of grind boxes, pyramid, radiuses and also a waxy curb. I really enjoyed riding this park especially the bowls as I love just cruising around them. I would definitely recommend them if you are a big bowl lover. Girmons Productions
