What a wonderful afternoon strolling around the peaceful and picturesque vineyard at the top of Banner down in Shockerwick Lane! A very informative talk by Tony, who really knows the ins and outs of growing vines! Then on to the tasting! Wonderful! A varied selection of light fine wines to sample together with a view of some Roman coins, found many years ago by Margaret when working near the vines! A beautiful sunny experience! Thank you to Tony and Margaret for looking after us so well!

We had a lovely time at Mumfords Vineyard. Tony was very friendly and knowledgeable about the grapes and wines they produce. We had a guided tour around the vineyards and then got to try some of the delicious wine! I highly recommend a visit if you're after a peaceful location to enjoy some local wine and learn about the processes used.

Absolutely beautiful views can be had upon the top. This is where Bath city finishes and the awesome West Countryside takes over.
