Best yarn shop in the country! Carmen, the shop’s passionate owner, has exquisite taste. The selection is beautifully curated—they carry only the best yarns in the most gorgeous colors, many of which are naturally dyed. And the staff couldn’t be nicer, more knowledgeable or more supportive. I started shopping A Yarn Story as an absolute beginner about a year ago and they’ve helped me progress through multiple scarves, hats and my first jumper. Shops like these, which unfortunately are far and few these days, are what makes a city like Bath feel special.

I love this shop! They carry beautiful but affordable yarn and are extremely knowledgeable. They clearly love what they do and are always a pleasure to deal with. They are also super-organized and efficient. I will be shopping here for many, many years! Definitely recommend!
Love, love, love shopping at A yarn story. Such a fantastical collection of everything I need as a knitting addict and some superb friendly service too. Speedy delivery and lovingly packaged, I just wish I could visit in person... hopefully next year, in the meantime I’ll just keep stalking the website for my next purchase
This is a lovely yarn shop with a truly wonderful team behind it! They have some unique yarn brands, with a fantastic range of colours and accessories. I love how they engage with customers, sorting through the options to get you that perfect yarn for a project. This experience has been the same regardless of whether I shopped in-store, online or at a yarn festival (Unravel). You guys are amazing - keep doing what you do!
