Fun for the dogs. Swimming during the warmer months. Lots of area to play.

It's fairly large and has a nice forest area. Only has one covered area. It has some sort of playground/agility area for dogs, but it's not great. They are old and need maintenance. I wish they would just tear those down and build better agility obstacles.

My dog howls with excitement everything's we drive here! Worth the trip! The park is a bit of a walk towards the back but worth good reason. Keep this place hidden so we can continue to enjoy it!

Great park with lots too do. Disc gold, fenced in doggie park, pavilions, trails and lakes.

I drove about 45 minutes to visit, as it's one of the few good parks for letting the dogs swim off leash. At the parking lot, follow the paved trail south along the ball fields to reach the swimming area. The lake area is not fenced in, so dogs that like to explore or run to greet others will be able to do so (whether you like that or not). The dog park entrance is just to the west of the swimming area (use Google maps to view the area). There is a nice grove of trees for shade, and a separate area with some basic agility equipment. The other owners and dogs that were there were friendly and well behaved. Tip: If you get anxious, your dog will get anxious. Just relax and let the dogs socialize. Likes: No charge, great swimming, shade for owners and dogs, well maintained. Dislikes: No signs that indicate where to go from the parking lot. Parking lot is half gravel, which with a wet dog can get messy (park on the paved section or let your dog dry off first).
