The mysterious one

I was reading the reviews on here and surprised at how most agree that the office staff are horrible. Dr. Bernhard is nice as well as the physical therapy place. But some of the staff are atrocious and I am baffled that they still have jobs. Every time we go in they are rude to me and my family to the point that they made my mother cry. We can't go anywhere else right now but I am so excited to leave this state and find a better doctors office, one with staff that doesn't belittle you.

A good operation, maybe not five star service but close enough. Giving 5 stars to balance out what I suspect to be reviews that have been put up after failed attempts to get drugs, as I know the medical operations in the area are prone to that kind of behavior. Very quick and easy in my experience.

The doctors and nurses are helpful and knowledgeable. However, the staff in the front desk is not the best. Booking an appointment is extremely difficult when you are sent straight to voice mail during regular hours. You have to attempt calling numerous of times before someone finally picks up. On the phone and in person the staff is very impatient and unwelcoming. My mom who is Hispanic has attended this clinic simply because of Dr. Mercado but feels uncomfortable to attend alone because of the way the staff treats her.

The doctors and PA's are great and helpful, but working with the office staff is terrible. They are rude and unhelpful. I can't believe they are still employed. Many times the phones just ring for minutes before being answered or they go directly to voicemail during normal hours. Getting a referral takes weeks and getting a return call is days. I hate to switch medical groups because I like the medical staff, but I'm done with the office staff.
