Mt. Batulao has one of the best views for a non-major climb and good enough for newbies who are fit enough for a day climb. I love how the locals take care of the mountain while setting it up so hikers will have a good experience while there. Everytime I go there are improvements like restrooms, pit stops, few shops that sell snacks/trail food and camp site. A good start for those looking to begin hiking or go back to it:)
