I visited the track today to update displays at the Basingstoke & Mid Hants AC. Track closed by the Council because of lockdown BUT 6 people using it despite Council notices to the contrary. Unbelievable! \u003e300 athletes would love to be using it but aren't.....

Great facility at down grange. Plenty of parking. Always take the family to the running track and the multi level playing fields. Great for exercising and getting some fresh air locally. Also has hockey and football pitches.
I like walking through the park round here. It's s real asset to Basingstoke.
Lovely sports track which you can use for free if you fancy running around the track. Free parking. Hosts quite a few athletic events over the summer. So when it's quiet and you fancy seeing if you really are faster than Usain bolt then you can run the hundred metres.
