It was my first time eating here. The staff was friendly but the service was very poor. They served undercooked French toast to two of the people, they messed up the checks. They also only offered a partial menu and some of the items on the partial menu were not available as printed. So a partial partial menu. I would be curious enough to try again under full menu availability. I had the crab cake Benedict w/hollandaise. The crab cake was patted to a super thin patty, you almost couldn't see it with the mounds of onions and peppers that are on the English muffin. I really felt over charged. The description on the menu says nothing about all the extra so I was surprised to see all of that, especially since I don't like onions and peppers like that AT ALL. I didn't complain, just scraped them off and ate the thing that I did like; although it was almost non existence after the removal of the veggies. The flavors were good though. We left still very hungry after spending a decent amount of money.

Absolutely LOVE to visit. I have been here a few times and I have not been disappointed at all. The food is delicious and plated beautifully. The feeling is relaxed but in a classy way. It is the perfect date night, birthday dinner, after work cocktail, or good food adventure location.

A 30-year establishment, located in the heart of Buckhead, you can find this converted home turned restaurant off the main road. I image on a busy night street parking may be hard to find, but not impossible. Complete with patio seating, a cozy dining room, and bar, Basil offers mid-price range Mediterranean food full of the subtle flavors of the region. The staff was friendly but a little less attentive than I would expect. The gluten free desert is perfect for a chocolate lover and worth the calorie splurge. All said, I will be back to try their brunch.
