The whole village is so amazing - so much incredible energy. Be sure to walk through the woods above the village to see the castle ruins. Wonderful crafts market in a Sunday

To be in the church where a Saint was baptized is incredible! A beautiful church, 'renovated' to include images of the late Pontiffs encyclicals. Images of the Saint abound. I wish they kept the church the way it was when he would have been praying there, but beautiful, directly across the street from his childhood home.

Nice church, but you come here for the history, as this was the church of Pope John Paul II's childhood.

This is the church where Pope John Paul II was baptised at his young age. His parental house is adjacent to the church. The Pope himself always upheld the importance of this church in his upbringing. It has a white facade. Inside there are three naives. There is a large market square in front of the church. Tourists always crowd this church as it is associated with the Pope.
