My favorite go-to restaurant in Basel. Very good grass-fed beef, and this is one of the few restaurants in Northwest Switzerland which seems to know how to dry-age beef. If you don’t want beef, go with my favorite, the dry-aged beer-pork. However, for every carnivore out there, DO NOT PASS UP the roasted bone marrow. Ask for extra grilled bread. Because of this bone marrow, I’ve tried it everywhere I can find it to include St John’s in London, and Rhyschänzli is better. Friendly staff, good wine list.
